Who is your favorite chess player?

Mine is Paul Morphy.

You didn't explain your reasons for picking Paul Morphy?

He dominated his era like no other. Every one should play through his games-if not all at least his more famous ones. You'll be entertained if nothing else. Definitely a candidate for all-time best player. Hope this response suffices.

Mine is ... Michael Tal his creativity on the board was unique and remarkable.

I like Lev Aronian. He can invent a win out of nothing. He isn't affraid to take chances. Tal is one of my favs too. Attack, attack and attack some more. OHHHH you thought I was finished, here is another attack. LOL.

I must agree that Tal was a great player, It's a shame that such a champion was taken so
early in life, I think i'm right that he chain smoked himself to death. In the sixties Tal played
Botvinnik for the World Championship, Botvinnik won, A remarkable feat, so my player that
I most admire is Botvinnik.

I think Tal was over 50 when he died. I like him too
