Not that i'm hoping to pull this post up (it was done anyway. BTW some forum rules about not hijacking posts and diverting may be useful too) but some recent "experiences" make me wonder if a minimum code shouldn't be really done. Andy, if you're there, please leave at least a comment. It seriously spoils the fun when a player who is already a couple of pieces down and won't resign disconnects a move away from checkmate. One even found it funny to leave a comment before logging out, instead of playing the only legal move he could make. Such a behaviour is considered abuse in any chess server (i mean for real time chess) and in my honest opinion should come only from basic common sense. It seems that some find their fun in showing to the whole Internet how little of this sense they have. Sorry for any english mistake (not my mother tongue) and enjoy chess here! Cheers |
