Here we have collected together the most commonly asked questions our players have asked us.

This is the most commonly asked question, so we'll answer it first.
Yes, ELO points dropping after a game has been won is quite common. This can happen during your first 15 games when your ELO rating is provisional, because the points are calculated from the average of all your games played.
Once your passed the first 15 games your rating is then established and will never drop from a lost game. Though it is possible for it to drop after a drawn game.
Generally during your provisional games period the best strategy is to play against players with as high ELO ratings as possible. Though this could be risky as if they win against you your rating could end up terrible.
A player that has had activity within the last 10 minutes will be shown in green and is classed as 'online'. A player that is logged out is displayed in red and 'offline'. Don't forget that you can still challenge, send messages and play your move against an offline player.
Every player has a maximum games limit of 100. Which I'm sure you'll agree is plenty.
Unfortuately undoing a move once the submit button has been pressed is not allowed. Please check your move is correct before submitting. This same rule applys to all players so is considered fair.
I'm afraid once a game has finished it cannot be restarted or continued from. The best you can do is to start a fresh game with the same player and try not to timeout this time.
It has been decided that this option will not be allowed. There is a few reasons for this. The major one being other players will be confused from the name change. Also a username change would cause problems with all finished games in the database.
No most defiantly not. Only 1 account per player is allowed. Any more than 1 is considered cheating and also against our terms & conditions.
Unfortunately because all usernames are linked from the finished games they have played, it is impossible to remove an account completely.
The best we can suggest is to remove all pictures and information from your account about yourself, then leave it. The account will remain dormant until you (hopefully) decide to return to us.
